Speaking on the occasion Mr. S. Ram Reddy President, CREDAI Hyderabad said, “CREDAI Hyderabad is looking forward for the great year for the real estate sector in Hyderabad. Hyderabad has seen rapid urbanization with Hyderabad Metropolitan Region offering the best quality of living among cities in India and is a leader in Human Development Index. This city is a preferred destination for most of the IT & ITES organizations, Gaming and Animation industry besides the health  care  sector.  According  to CBRE estimates,  the  city’s  overall  commercial stock is about 56 million sq. ft as of 2017 with leasing of over 6.8 million Sqft of commercial space in 2017, organized retail space of 2.9 million sqft with over 3.7 million Sqft to be released in next few years. This will definitely translate into higher demand for residential Complexes. For the benefit of the end users the property prices at Hyderabad are the lowest when compared to cities with comparable development and infrastructure. The CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show is being aptly scheduled from 2nd to 4th March 2018 to help the buyers find the best projects in the city under one roof with attractive finance options and promotional schemes from the developers. We hope the prospective home buyers will make the most of the current low prices and pick up their dream home, before the increase in price of real estate.”

Adding to this Mr. P Rama Krishna Rao, General Secretary, CREDAI Hyderabad, said, “In the year   2017    the    industry witnessed the    impact    of demonization and the    implementation    of GST & RERA. Over the past few months we have adopted our business plans in line with these great reforms, driving the country towards a more conducive and transparent business environment. We hope that the Government considers and acts favorably on our request to standardize the GST rates from 12 % to 8 %, not just for affordable housing segment, but all real estate projects. This will give a major boost to the industry and help in rapid job creation and relevant skill development by the sector. Moreover, in the last few months the raw material prices for the essential materials like steel and cement have increased significantly. We are also facing a shortage of sand. We urge the government to control unprecedented increase in prices of raw materials; else the real estate sector will not be able to absorb the increased cost, resulting in housing becoming more expensive.”

He further added that “Hyderabad is getting a global prominence as a site for largest establishments for MNC’s and a vibrant and rapidly growing local entrepreneurship ecosystem driving the growth and job creation in the city. We are hopeful that the city is likely to witness a significant demand for housing in the coming few years. Against this backdrop, we are planning the 6th Edition of the largest and most credible – CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show between 2nd to 4th March 2018, which will be a golden opportunity for the customers to make the most of the present low property prices at Hyderabad and pick up their dream home.”

Adding to this Mr. K. Rajeshwar, Treasurer, CREDAI Hyderabad & Convener CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show 2018 said, “The CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show, which is the most credible property show will be held on 2nd to 4th March 2018 at Hitex. This year it will be the biggest ever real estate show with more than 110 stalls with a participation of member developers, Financial Institutions and Suppliers showcasing the best real estate in the city. Hyderabad is traditionally  an  end-user driven market and is witnessing a steady growth both in terms absorption and value.
